FLEX FOR NEW-PRODUCT TRIALS

Protect the first trial. Keep the promise.

Flex protects eligible products new to a retailer location. If they sell slowly, saved markdown support needs no new purchase. A later qualifying renewal is optional.

SAVED RESOLUTIONIf needed
Set the terms

Accept one program version with trial scope, markdown support, timing, and caps before purchase.

Protect eligible lines

The first qualifying purchase of an approved product new to this location receives protection automatically.

Sell normally

Products that sell become established. Later reorders do not receive the same trial protection again.

Use the saved terms

Slow trials may use base support without buying again, or an optional qualifying enhanced renewal.

PURCHASE-TIME PROTECTION

Write the promise before the risk.

The retailer accepts one program version before buying. Eligible trial lines receive protection automatically; established products in the same order remain ordinary.

A slow trial does not require another purchase.

After the minimum selling period, a retailer can start the saved markdown plan for eligible remaining stock. It chooses its own selling prices and submits the required sales evidence. Support follows the agreed price-reduction formula, retailer first loss, and caps.

Keep the trial and its promise together

Flex connects accepted terms, qualifying source lines, selling outcomes, and any support used. An enhanced renewal adds a separate purchase-value check only when that optional path is used.

What the brand learns

Whether each task completed

Whether the combined decision should repeat

Sell normally

A successful trial becomes an established product. Its later reorders are unprotected.

Base markdown support

Use the saved support without another wholesale purchase. Slow stock alone does not create a payout.

Optional enhanced renewal

Check a later purchase for additional support. A failed check preserves valid base protection.

One brand-store installation.

The retailer participates through the brand's B2B customer-account surface. Oplut never connects to or administers the retailer's Shopify store.

When a later renewal makes sense.

The optional enhanced path checks shopper demand and brand purchase value separately. The retailer reviews the resulting wholesale order before accepting it.

Bind protection to the exact source Order

Freeze what the retailer would buy without Flex

Historical normal and the current no-Oplut decision stay separate. At-risk recovery needs dated supporting evidence. Missing evidence never becomes zero.

Select one demand mode before results

Paid preorders or retained sales can activate a saved quantity plan. Newly protected lines cannot fund support for older stock, even if demand qualifies.

Reconcile the whole cycle before settlement

Payment, fulfillment, Returns, credit, overlap, displacement, prior accommodation, and incremental cost remain attached.

One trial right per product

The first qualifying source consumes eligibility at that location. Ambiguous or duplicate history blocks automatic protection.

Ambiguity blocks automation

Unreconciled stock, duplicate use, or unreliable evidence stops the favorable result.

Qualified value is not support

Enhanced support must preserve brand contribution and fit the old-position formula, retailer participation, remaining capacity, and caps.

Trial eligibility

The first qualifying retained purchase of an approved product new to this Company Location.

Accepted agreement

The immutable terms accepted before the retailer takes the inventory risk.

Protected source Order

Brand-store B2B Order

The authoritative Order for the exact Company Location.

Eligible trial value

Retained net merchandise value after discounts. Taxes, shipping, duties, and fees are excluded.

Remaining protected value

The bounded value still available after prior allocation or use.

Optional enhanced renewal

Old position

The exact remaining protected trial position, tied to its source lines and unused capacity.

Demand mode

Paid preorders for a launch or retained sales for a reorder. One mode is selected before results.

No-Oplut decision

The transaction-specific renewal decision frozen before results are known.

Fresh wholesale Order

A separately defined brand-side B2B Order with its own payment and fulfillment facts.

Resolution and settlement

Base markdown support

A saved formula for qualifying price reductions, with retailer participation and caps. No new purchase is required.

Saved return fallback

Only if agreed before purchase, after the markdown attempt. A swap is return credit plus a separate order.

Shared source capacity

The same old value cannot fund base support, return credit, or enhanced support twice.

Final reconciliation

Payment, fulfillment, Returns, credit, overlap, and repeat use are checked.

Settlement authorization

Actor, instrument, amount, and external action are verified without reopening the promise.

Continue the private walkthrough

These are product previews. Build 0 is still under review; implementation readiness, operator acceptance, and profitable repeat use remain unproven.
